Hello. I had a suggestion and I didn't know where else to put it. Anyways, it is about posting in character. With multiple characters, it would be easier to post if we didn't have to log out and then log into separate accounts. Instead of changing the display names we could do like I do on another RP site that I run. Whenever we post in character, we put an identification plaque on top. Like so. I like the idea, but I don't know if it'll work for a person like me. I'm used to simpler stuff so I only made one character. But again, I like it.

Although it is a good idea creating seperate accounts makes it much easier to classify everyone. Also it seperates Admins from characters. It would be bad if an admin started abusing their power while they were someone else. There are numerous sites that do the same thing this site does, with a max of 3 characters per person and one character per account. It is just easier to organize for admins like me. I'm sorry but I'm being a bit selfish on this one.

You're both making valid points, but I think that Aldren is making a good point. Admins could abuse their powers this way. And I find it easy to organize it as well.

I also have a suggestion. How about, until there amembers to controll the shops, we just have shops that aren't run by anyone? Only problem with that could be the whom stock item thing

I understand your position.
For me, it is a matter of ease. Maintaining separate accounts for myself as a player (Marcasite) and then each character is something that just doesn't work for me. It is a little wierd to log in on my primary account (marcasite) and to see a female name up there when my info says I am a male.
However, that aside, as the admin, I respect your decision and will abide by it.

I have a suggestion and I really expect that alot of people will not really go for it. It gets confusing because some people have their characters active in multiple places at the same time. For example, Magpie (I'm sorry Magpie, I don't have a problem with you it is just I noticed this most with you) was conversing with my character outside the guild, having an arena battle with Glenroy and getting killed by Skorm somewhere else. It got terribly confusing because I wasn't aware what was going on and then he messaged me telling me his character died and I was left wondering how. In short, can we keep our characters active in one place at a time instead of multiple places? It just doesn't make sense to be in Knothole Glade and Bowerstone at the same time. If you want to be in Bowerstone, write yourself leaving the area your in so people are aware of where you are and where you might be heading.

I agree, you should write yourself leaving but it doesn't always work to just have one post at a time.
The important part is to not suddenly have additional information while you are posting. Lets say you start talking to someone and you two are talking about how the Guild has no quests, in the next sentence you wouldn't suddenly start talking about a quest you have.
You can have multiple posts as long as you establish it is a different time. For my Scarlett character I had her talking to Enigma in the woods just before and during my Quest. I established that it was the day before I went off on my quest and didn't include anything about any of the people I met later.
So, it is fine to have more then one post as long as they are different days and to keep this manageable you should write in your journal after each important post.
Does that seem fair?

Oh and Selena, I am going to open a shop soon that is run by the Guild (Which means me unfortunately). It will have a large variety of things so what type of objects would you like to see in it?

That seems very fair and I understand completely the way you have said it. I got terribly confused with Magpies posts to me until he stated that the conversation he had with me was before he died (should of included this in my above post too) This is all new to me and I apologise if some of my questions and suggestions seem a bit dumb. Thank you for clearing this up

I was thinking perhaps potions, augments, and maybe armor?

Yeah we will definitely have that. Good idea.

also, I think that we should change the damage system, considering when people have good armor, every hit will be like 1/2 damage. maybe we should reduce the health?

What do you mean?

I mean that everyone has too much health, people & monsters,

Ok so maybe we institute a health system. First time characters start with 20 health and that would be the same as small creatures (Beetles, Wasps, Lesser Bandits and Hobbes)
then they level up to 50 along with bigger creatures (Bandits, Balverines, and Imps)
Then up to 75 with the really strong monsters (Trolls, and White Balverines.)
Last would be 100 with the biggest bosses (Kraken and any other crazy creatures we can think up)

yeah, that would be great. But the Kraken and "other crazy monsters" should have more health then any hero, because it won't be a one on one, it'll be one v three or four.

I think that is a great idea (You should post it somewhere for the new members and people who have not read this thread). Oh and... Please make my character powerful ;D
