Gabrielle went into the inn, hoping they had a vacant bed. She hadn't been able to find the blacksmith, so she'd try again tomorrow but for now she was tired. She had been up the night before, writing what felt like a mile-length letter to her sister. She could have visited the Guild herself but she never seemed to have enough time to stay for long, so she had gotten into the habit of writing out a letter for Artemis then either dropping it at the Guild if she went there to check quests or giving it to someone who was heading that way.
She found herself an empty table and sat there, taking a book out of the large pockets of her oversized, hooded grey coat and finding her page. The book was made of thick parchment, with extra pages struck iin here and there, and was sewn together badly. The front pages were marked with crudely done letters and numbers from her first attempts at writing two years ago. The later pages were a horribly spelt but faithfully kept log.
She studied it for a few moments then sighed and put it away. She couldn't do anything with it right now since she had no ink ready. She leant back in the chair, looking at the others in the inn. It was a slow night and it was half-empty, which was good. It certainly improved her chances of getting a bed at least. She watched the other pub-goers idly, twirling her fingers in the air absently.

'Hello there', said Daygon to this new arrival in his pub. 'Can I help you with anything?' he asked politely.

"What?" Gabrielle jerked to attention. She shook her head. "Oh, right. Yeah. I was distracted. Anyways... This is going to sound silly, but do you have anything in this pub that isn't alcoholic? I don't drink, you see."

Gabrielle raised an eyebrow, "Fox piss, seriously? Is that a name for something else? Whatever it really is, I don't want it. Just a water, please. With nothing foxy added." she added, making a face.

'Ok, Water is free' Said Daygon as he noticed the woman taking out some Gold. Daygon walked off to fetch the water and left the woman alone.

Walking into the bar Glenroy walked to the counter. "Daygon my good man give me a fox-piss." He noticed a woman snort beside him. "Don't worry. It's whisky and rum. You should try it. Don't know how it's non-alcoholic though. You scamming this nice lady" Glenroy said. They both laughed.

Daygon kept smiling as he washed the pint glass in some water. 'Sorry I don't think I caught your name....' said Daygon politely to the woman.

"It's Gabrielle. I prefer Seraph though." she said. "So, is there anything happening around here? I couldn't even find the blacksmith earlier, just his shop."

"Only sixty gold and a yew longbow for another sixty. Also you can have a light leather armour suit for 200. Swing by and you can have them all." Bidding farewell Glenroy left the bar.

*Kalingbron entered the bar, waving to the few folk sitting around. He ordered a mug of ale, and began a conversation with a villager. When they said goodbye, Kalingbron handed a few gold over to the barkeep and took a nice swig of his drink.*

*Kalingbron chugged the last of his ale, and left the sandgoose, hopefully returning after he was famous.*
