In search of an adventure

[Hawk]

Hawk arrived at the shore of Hook Coast. The boat he had got out of was massive, large sails were strung up high as the boat rocked about in the windy shores.
'Where are you going!?' shouted several sea worthy bandits aboard the ship.
'For a walk' shouted Hawk back through the Gaels.

Hawk looked around the beach he had landed on. It was the first time he had been alone in a very long time. The camp could look after itself for a while so Hawk decided it was time for a break.

Picking up his two huge blades Hawk began his steep ascent up the winding hill.
'Maybe I will find something of interest' thought Hawk as he pushed his way through the strong gusts of wind.

[Griff Trevin]

Further up the hills Griff lay inside his tent with Tucker sleeping beside him. It felt like they had been walking for days and it was about time they got some rest.
Shuffling through his bag, Griff pulled out a bread roll and began to eat it, leaving a piece in front of Tucker for when he woke up. He didn't remember the last conversation he had with somebody, it felt like forever.
"I wish I had some company" He said

[Hawk]

Hawk continued up the steep winding path pushing through the strong icy winds. After passing a couple of trees Hawk noticed foot prints spread across the muddy floor in front of him. Hawk followed them and eventually came across a small patched up tent.

The coldness forced Hawk to walk to the tent and ask for shelter. He did not know what would happen though since he was on the most wanted list withing most towns and villages.

'I could just kill whoever is inside though' he thought to himself. With this in mind he raised his two blades but did not attack since he wanted a fare fight if they were too.

'Who is in there?' asked Hawk loudly facing the front of the tent.

[Griff Trevin]

Startled at the sudden booming voice he just heard, Griff drew his sword. Tucker following closely behind, Griff spoke as he moved toward the tents door.
"I'm coming out, don't try anything funny"
Poking his head out he saw a large figure before him. As his eyes adjusted he realised who it was.
"Hawk? Well here's a surprise if I've ever seen one, what are you doing all the way out here? Never mind that, come inside, lets talk" Griff said gesturing Hawk into the tent.

[Hawk]

Griff was the last man he was expecting to see come out. Still slightly shocked Hawk allowed himself to be sat inside the tent.
Although it looked small from the outside it was rather large in the inside. There were small cushions placed around the sides neatly with a thin mattress layed out in the middle. Hawks body tingled slightly from the sudden heat embracing his large body.

Laying his swords to one side and moving about a bit, but careful not to squash the dog Tucker Hawk looked down at Griff.
'I just fancied doing something away from the bandits' said Hawk smiling in response to Griff's first question.
'So what about you, why are you out here?' asked Hawk softly accepting a mug of hot water from Griff.

[Griff Trevin]

Griff thought about Hawk's question for a moment while gathering some food from his backpack.
Handing some bread to Hawk he began to speak
"Well, after i left the bandits I was curious about the Heroes Guild so I kind of joined them. I have never done any sort of quests for them but I trained a bit. I'm not sure why I'm out here to be honest, after meeting a few people I got lonely, this world is a really lonely place Hawk, so I came out here. I've had plenty of time to think about things and what i really want is my old family back"

[Hawk]

Hawk listened to Griff as he spoke. Accepting the bread Hawk smiled and replied,
'The Guild eh? Well I suppose everything is worth trying out' said Hawk chuckling whilst breaking off part of the bread.

Hawk then looked seriously into Griff's eyes and said kindly,
'Yes I agree the world is a lonely place, especially when there is nobody around for you. I have personally missed having you around the camp and also many of the bandits hate you not being there. So what I am trying to say is... You are welcomed back to the bandits with open arms, that is if you accept of course.'

Hawk looked around awaiting an answer but then said in a calm voice,
'I know you said you have had time to think, But I will give you more time if you wish. As for me, I fancy exploring'. At that Hawk picked up his two large swords and crawled out of the tent.

'You are welcomed to join me if you want' called Hawk back to Griff. The winds where still ice cold and it was starting to get dark. Hawk was ready to head off but waited for Griff to reply in case he felt like joining him on his little adventure.

[Griff Trevin]

"Wait!" Griff yelled crawling out of the tent.
"I want to come with you, just let me gather my things" Griff said quickly.
Packing up the tent quickly and packing it into its bag, Griff ran up to Hawk. He felt like he had part of his family back though he still had not answered as to whether he wanted to come back to the bandits.
"If I was to want to come back to the bandits how would it work? How would I go about quitting the Guild and coming back?" Griff asked
This was the only question left on his mind and was more then ready to set out.

[Hawk]

'It would work easily, just give notice to the Guild in any form you wish and come back to us. Bandits do not need reasons' said Hawk smiling. He helped carry Griff's luggage and set off up the hill in the cold breeze.

[Griff Trevin]

"I'll notify them when we're finished here Hawk, and thanks for letting me come back" Griff said sincerely.
Heading off after Hawk Griff shouted out "So where are we heading?"

[Hawk]

'I am not really sure. I heard that there is a mysterious ship that you can summon up at the lighthouse though, It is said to have a special power. If we could capture that then we could sell it for a good amount of gold or just sail about in it for a good time. Either way suits me!' laughed Hawk as he shielded his face with his arm from the strong winds that were smacking into them both.

[Griff Trevin]

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's get at it!" Griff shouted enthusiastically.
Walking alongside Hawk Griff looked around, the wind was whipping the snow up around them imparing their vision greatly.
After walking for a few hours Griff spotted in the distance something that resembled a lighthouse.
"It's still a way off but we should be able to get there before nightfall" Griff said to Hawk
Hawk nodded in agreement and they continued their trek through the snow

[Magpie]

Magpie suddenly materialised before Hawk.
"Christ Hawk! Been looking for you..." Magpie stopped to catch his breath.
"...The Camp is under attack! Darkwood Bandits! Come on!" Magpie held out both hands to the two men, waiting for them to take them.

[Griff Trevin]

"Well then, I say we go. What about you Hawk?" Griff said putting his hand out to Magpie's

[Hawk]

'I suppose this quest can wait' said Hawk. He also put his hand out to Magpie.
They all vanished in a swirl of blue back to the bandit camp to defend it against the enemy.
