Leo walked through the Silver Forest, the trees glimmering in the moonlight. He had come here to obtain some of the Silver Wood, for a powerful weapon he intended to make. He had heard that these trees had magical properties, but he paid no mind, as they would soon have their magical abilities in one bow of super silvery death. As he reached a small clearing, He saw a particularly large tree, one with many healthy branches, excellent material for a new bow.
As he approached the large tree, he felt a small being land on his shoulder.
"Ah, Jim. Where have you been?" Asked Leo to the small black butterfly.
"The Drakwood Bordello." Said Jim with complete pride in his words.
"Wait," Asked Leo. "How would that work with you being a butter-KYAAA!"
Leo's words were interrupted by a large brown mass launching itself at Leo from behind, knocking him off his feet. He had just regained focus in his eyes to see the mug of a large Balverine drooling a few meters away. Leo quickly clambered to his feet, with his Giant blade clutched in his hand. The Balverine lunged again, but this time Leo was ready. He swung his greatsword to strike at the beast, but caught on one of the trunks of a Silver Tree, with a loud clink of metal hitting metal.
"Damn." Thought Leo, as he realized that the Noblesse Oblige was no use in tight spaces with hard surfaces. He was knocked off his feet again as the beast charged him. After some rolling, and bouncing off the ground, Leo landed on his back a few meters away from the Balverine, his Sword still stuck in the tree on the other side of the clearing. Leo got up from the ground. Looking across the clearing, the Balverine was right in front of the Noblesse Oblige, his only chance at survival. The Balvering jumped high into the air, and came back down right in front of Leo. Thinking quickly, Leo threw a hard jab to the beast's abdomen. The Balverine reeled back, stunned by the human's lack of fear and tremendous strength. Leo jumped forward, landing several more blows to the creature's face, each making it grunt in pain. Leo then placed his wrists together and landed a double open palm jab to the creature's hip, sending it flying through the air. It landed on it's feet a good distance away, giving Leo a chance to make a break for the Noblesse. He was a stone's throw away from the sword, as the beast caught him in the back again, but instead of leaping off, dug it's claws deep into Leo's back. He fell to the ground with a spatter of blood. He only had time to reach up and grab a branch off an old Silver tree, before the creature sank it's fangs into his neck. Leo quickly spun around on the ground, and jabbed the branch into the side of the creature's neck. A jet of blood sprayed from the creature's wound. It reeled back in pain, a loud gurgling scream coming from it's throat. Leo took this chance and seized the Noblesse and wrenched it from the Silver tree trunk.
