Ravyn jogged to the Skill training area in the Guild.
I haven't been here in ages, she thought.
She set her Iron Longsword to the side and took out her bow. It was a dyed Yew bow, it had a green fade to gold sheen. It was her practice bow. She slung her Quiver over her back and notched an arrow. She took aim and fired. The arrow flew as straight as a rainbow. She cursed. She tried again. The arrow flew straighter this time, and hit the target dummy in the chest.
At least it's an improvement, she thought.
She practiced for almost 10 minutes before she had run out of arrows. She began to recover the arrows she had shot when she noticed a sparrow, with an arrow in it. It had probably been shot by a careless apprentice before her, because she would never shoot an innocent creature. The arrow had gone right through it's wing and Ravyn could see it had most likely been there for quite awhile, withering in agony. It wouldn't survive, no matter how strong anyone's Healing Magic was. Ravyn sighed, and pick it up tenderly in her hands. She quickly snapped it's neck, before it could feel a thing. She called fire to her hand and dropped the deceased sparrow in her hand. When she released the magic, the ashes remained in her hands. She blew them in the air, and let the ashes spread across the training area.
No, innocent creature, no matter how small, deserves a quick painless death, and a proper funeral, she thought.
She finished gathering her arrows and placed them in her quiver, before using her Guild Seal to teleport away.
