Magpie stood up, and pulled Darkhorde to the side, behind a row of trees, he turned to him, and began to speak.

Magpie embraced Darkhorde in a brotherly hug. "I knew I'd find you eventually... You're my brother Darkhorde. My older brother. Our parents are dead. My message from our Father was that. Not to become what you have." Magpie released Arthur.

Arthur haltered at that "Not to become what you have." It hurt him greatly and then everything came back to him. He remembered who he was, The Dark One, Skorms Highest Priest. "Would you perhaps like to join me?" Arthur asked

Magpie sighed. "I cannot. My loyalties lie with Hawk. The Bandit King. I really don't think he'd be happy if another follower abandoned him."

"It's not too late you know. We can visit the Temple Of Avo, seek redemption. I'll be at your side all the way." Magpie grabbed Arthurs arm, preparing to teleport to the Temple Of Avo, if his brother agreed.

Griff sat silently and listened, pretending to be asleep. He heard most of what was said, taking interest in only that this Rogerick in fact did know Hawk and that he may well be this "Magpie" person that he had heard about. Still he was not 100% sure. Griff stood up when he heard "Rogerick" yell out to his brother, and walked over to him "Let him go, I want to talk to you alone" Griff leant up against a tree, Tucker at his side "I heard what you were talking about, and I know you were lying to me about not knowing Hawk. Yes I suspected you were a bandit, and I also suspect your Magpie. I am not going to tell the Guildmaster about this, if you want access to the Guild I won't try to stop you. In fact I'll do my best to help you, just because I left the bandits doesn't mean that I'm all goody goody now. I just want to be able to do my own thing, and not answer to anyone. So Magpie, if I need to prove to you that you can trust me, what would you have me do?" Griff's proposal was genuine, and he hoped Magpie knew it

As usual Charles was confused by this series of events. So he wandered off continuing his search for food. As he walked along the wall he spotted a pie in the window sill and ran off leaving the mysterious fellows to themselves.

"Forget it boy. I don't need you to prove that I can trust you. I don't want your assistance." He said grimly and walked back to the gate, yet again slumping down against it with his arms crossed.
