Glenroy stepped off the gangplank of the ship. Striding onto the pier he bid Captain Matland fairwell. Seeing the town again brought painful memories back from his childhood. Houses burning. Bodies everywhere. Running towards the last ship with his father... That was all a long time ago and bowerstone had changed since then. Expanded. Whole estates had been built where there had once been farmland. Soon enough Barrow Fields would be the only farming community in all of Albion. Sword in sheathe and bow across his shoulder Glenroy wandered toward the south part of town.

If Scarlett had felt uncertain at the gates, that was nothing compared to how she felt once she got inside. Things had changed in Bowerstone since last she remembered. But she walked tall and proud, red hair swinging with her gait.
The anxiety of so many people quickly brought Scarlett to an anxioius halt. It didn't show on her face, but she knew that she must get some quiet before anyone noticed.
Scarlett walked toward the very edge of town, to where the boats docked. She used to go there as a child with her father. The tall masted ships gave her ideas for stories and her father always obliged bringing her to see them.
Now a single ship had docked. A few people were loading and unloading things off of it and a few were milling around, grabbing belongings that had been on the ship.
Without looking, Scarlett bumped into one of the passengers on the ship.
"Oh... I'm sorry. Wasn't paying attention." She said, green eyes barely looking away from the magestic ship.

Glenroy stopped to look around at the ships in the harbour. Flames.... As he stopped a woman bumped into him. "Oh... I'm sorry. Wasn't paying attention" a young woman said to him. He looked at her face and then he looked her up and down. Her body was perfectly shaped and she was very beautiful, Her firey hair cascading down her back. "Oh entirely my fault. I should have been moving on. And you are?" Glenroy asked with a smile.

Scarlett blushed slightly when she noticed the man look her up and down. She pretended otherwise though and smiled at him. "No I was much to busy focusing on the changes in town. I haven't been here in about two years. It seems much bigger now. I'm Scarlett. It is great to meet you...." Scarlett let the last part of the sentence hang in the air, waiting for the man to answer her. He seemed nice.

Glenroy smiled. The woman seemed not only attractive but polite as well. "My name is Glenroy. Nice to meet you m'lady" Glenroy said and planted a kiss on her hand. "Is something wrong? You seem troubled" Glenroy said. Glenroy was enjoying the conversation. He certainly liked her but being a gentleman, would not make advances towards her on their first meeting.

Scarlet blushed again when he kissed her hand. "A bit forward don't you think my good sir. Practically half the town is staring right now." She said, adding some sarcastic laughter as well, the Quay was practically deserted at the moment, just a few ship scragglers left. "Nothing is troubling me. I haven't been in town for a while and I couldn't find the blacksmith, do you know where it is?"
Scarlett glanced over her shoulder, back towards the center of town. It wasn't like her to have conversations with complete strangers like this. She was usually very shy. Thinking about her usual anxiety around others started to give her even more anxiety. The pale skin in her face got a bit paler.
"Oh... I'm sorry. It isn't necessary to show me around. Maybe I should leave..."

Glenroy smiled at Scarletts joke. However he detected some truth in it and backed off. "You are seeking the blacksmith? So am I in fact. I wish to get a job their. P'raps we should walk there together? If you're not busy of course" Glenroy said

"Well perhaps I'll just beat you for that job. Maybe I'm not cut out for adventuring anymore. My arm looks a bit stronger then yours." She added wtih another laugh, anxiety subsiding.
She pulled a leather strap from her pocket and tied her bright red hair in it, a soft breeze had been getting strands into her eyes. But Scarlett was begining to feel better now. She hoped her own paranoia wouldn't strike back again. Glenroy seemed quite pleasant.
"Yes... lets go see the blacksmith. Maybe you can sell me a new sword. If you get the job of course." She snickered to herself as she walked a few paces forward then turned back waiting for Glenroy to follow.
