Glenroy arrived at the picnic area after hearing rumours about a man living a tent there. The tent was easy to spot. Grif was outside sharpening his blade with a whetstone. His dog was beside him head-on-paws. Aproaching them Glenroy said "You asked me if we could get a drink. Well I brought two ale-skins" he tossed one to Grif. "Well have you thought more about it do you want Revenge?"

Griff caught the ale skin and sheathed his blade. "I appreciate this Glenroy, but revenge is not something that I long for. What's done is done, and killing Hawk is not going to bring my family back." Griff said, taking a swig of ale after. "I don't even know if it was Hawk who killed them. There are many small groups of rogue bandits. It could of been any one of them"
At that moment a Hawk landed on the table in front of Griff with a not attatched to its leg. Griff grabbed the not and read it. A smile went across his face as he read it. "It's from Hawk, he wishes me well and understands me leaving" Griff said with relief.
"Why do you want revenge so bad on him anyway? You said to me that you and your dad rebuilt and you moved on in life." Griff asked

Glenroy was surprised. "We may have rebuilt but it was never the same." he said. "Grandad! Grandad!" he screamed. But the flames only leapt higher and the roof of the blacksmith collapsed. "Glenroy we have to go now!" "Griff you know what it's like. Stop protecting him! It was him! He raised you but do you think he saw you as anything more than another bandit? I can't help you if you won't admit it was him! Do you want to come with me or protect the murdering beast who killed your parents?" Glenroy was angry. "Why couldn't he see it?" he thought.

Griff was taken back by Glenroy's arogance toward the matter. "I'm not protecting him, even if it was him I don't feel that revenge is the best option. Yes he is a bandit and so was I, but look, we're here talking aren't we? I need some time Glenroy, and if you can't understand that leaving behind my old life is harder than you think than maybe you should just leave" Griff found those words hard to say, but he meant everything he said

"Griff i'm sorry" Glenroy said. "I know how har..." Just then a man ran into the picnic area. "Bandits!" he screamed "attacking the blacksmith!". Glenroy cursed "Griff follow if you want. If not I understand" and with that he sprinted away.

Griff jumped up out of his seat, and followed Glenroy. Why were the bandits attacking the blacksmith? Maybe it was a separate clan? Griff wouldn't know until he arrived to find out so instead he followed Glenroy to wherever this may lead him

Darryl approached one of the picnic benches and pulled out an apple from his pocket. " 'Ere catch this madness!" he said, as he threw the apple to his dog. "H'm. That's weird...I could've sworn I saw that Steelwork guy up here?! Or is it Steelforge? Oh well..." So he sat there all alone, the way he liked it!

After eating what seemed to be a rotten piece of meat, that he had pulled out of his other pocket. Darryl stared at the trees for a few minutes, got bored and fast travelled away...

Neverfall sat on a bench, eating an apple he had plucked from a tree branch. When he finished, he tossed the core away. He watched as two traders entered the area. They were talking amongst themselves.
"Did you hear about what happened in Bowerstone South?"
"No, I haven't been there in months. Business has kept me from there. Well, what happened?"
"The barkeep was murdered. He was decapitated."
Oh, no. Someone's found the body, thought Neverfall. He continued eavesdropping.
"Decapitated?! That's a gruesome way to go. Any idea who did it?"
"No, no one's claimed to have seen the bastard."
Bastard?! Is that what I am?!
"The body was still fresh when it was discovered. Some poor young man came running out of the bar, screaming "Murder!" at the top of his lungs."
"What a shame. Me and him were friends, we were. Are you sure no one knows who did it?"
"Well, there have been rumors going around that the murderer has purple hair, and two katanas, like that fellow over there." The trader jabbed his thumb at Neverfall to show his fellow trader who he was talking about.
"Do you think he could've done it?"
"Can't say for sure, there's no concrete evidence."
"Let's go ask him."
"Do you really think anyone would knowingly reveal that they murdered someone?"
"No, I suppose not. Well, what should we do?"
"We should inform the guards, methinks."
Neverfall had heard enough. He couldn't allow them to inform anyone. He leapt to his feet and swiftly ran to the two traders, running them through with his twin katanas. They slumped lifelessly to the dirt, a large pool of blood forming around them. Neverfall wiped his blades clean, then exited the area.
