This Poll was thought up by David G. Fairfax. These films may have captured your imagination or given you happy memories, but which is your favourite? [Chose 'Other' if you have another suggestion in mind and state what the movie is ]

I chose 'Star Wars Original trilogy' because I think the Star Wars films are the best sci-fie films going.
Also the title music gets me every time ;D

Lord Of The Rings. I've always loved the films and the books. Except I dislike the maker of the films, Peter Jackson, because he missed loads of important bits out and changed bits. He missed out Tom Bombadils couple of chapters for christ sake, the Barrow Downs, which is awesome, and he missed out the Scouring Of The Shire at the end of the last book.

I'm torn between SWOT, LOTR, and the Godfather. oh well, I'll just vote for the Godfather, only 'cause (as Magpie said) LOTR was missing some of the coolest parts + SWOT, well now that I think about if you have the "original" VHS version theres really nothing wrong. But because it's tainted by the new crap in the DVDs, it just doesn't feel the same.

I have never actually read the LOTR books fully before - I usually read up to around three chapters and lose interest. But by the sound of your comments it seems I am missing out, is that true? (I used to read alot but have stopped now).

I want to say X Men but the movies weren't good in my opinion. Star Wars Original it is.

Godfather 1 was absolute classic, then 2 was groundbreaking going between the times but 3 is a real letdown yet I have heard people call it the best!
