Arthas walked in his awake state of unconsiousness pointlessly towards the gates. He didn't get far, before he began getting colder and colder, and as he fell to the ground, his helmet fell off, and the last thing he saw before passing out, was a man with a band covering his eyes.

Enigma had been idling along the road away from the town, having grown bored of the place already, when Riddle gave a low, uneasy growl. Pausing, Enigma turned back towards the village, holding his breath to allow himself to hear more. As he listened he heard the heavy footsteps of an injured man approaching him and backed away warily, tutting at Riddle to make sure she stayed with him. He needn't have worried though, as mere moments later the man seemingly collapsed.
Hovering uncertainly a few feet away, Enigma titled his head in the direction of the man, listening closely for the sound of breathing. He could only just barely catch the sound of shallow breaths and he sighed in displeasure. He didn't particularly want to waste his time helping a stranger but over the past year he'd developed a rather unwanted conscience. He placed his hand on Riddle's head and made a little sound in the back of his throat. She answered the command by leading him over to the man.
Enigma knelt by his side and placed his hand against the side of his neck, searching for a pulse. It took him a moment but he eventually found found, strong but slightly erratic. A quick pat of the stranger's shoulder told him that the man was dressed from head to foot in armour, which really wasn't going to make it easy to treat any wounds he may have.
With a sigh, Enigma shook his head and shook the unconscious man carefully. "Wake up," he said bluntly, scowling behind his blindfold.

Arthas awoke, turning to his side, and coughing up blood. He looked up at his saviour. "Thank you..." He muttered. After a moment, he slowly moved his hand up to the mans face to remove the blindfold, only to have his hand slapped away. "Show me your eyes..." Arthas said softly.

Enigma rose from a kneel to a crouch, turning his head away. The smell of blood was back again and judging by the fact the man had been coughing a moment ago it was a safe bet to assume it was from him. That probably wasn't good but at least he was awake now. He could go looking for his own help.
Just as he was about to get up and leave though, he felt a presence near his face. Twitching away in alarm he snapped his own hand up and slapped the stranger's hand away. "What are you doing?" he growled, more alarmed than angry. "Why do you want to see my eyes?" He hoped this wasn't just another person with a morbid fascination with what blind eyes looked like.

"I... You're... Beautiful..." Arthas muttered. "Please... Let me see your eyes..." He added, moving his hand towards Enigma's blindfold, giving him the chance to push his hand away if he wanted to.

Enigma was startled enough by the muttered compliment that he didn't resist the next time Arthas tried to remove his blindfold, though he did flinch away somewhat instinctively. Never-the-less, he hadn't shown his eyes to anyone bar Maelstrom and a healer since the incident, so he reached up and pulled the blindfold down himself, letting it fall down to hang around his neck. He kept his eyes closed and his head turned away though, still reluctant to show them to a stranger.

Arthas lay his hand on Enigma's cheek, and slowly turned his head to face him, waiting for him to open his eyes...

Most of Enigma's hesitation lay in the fact that he still hadn't grown used to opening his eyes and not seeing anything - not even feeling anything. It was a sensation that scared him more than anything else in the world and the thought of it made him reach for his blindfold again, changing his mind.
When Arthas touched his cheek, however, he jumped, startled and his eyes opened by reflex. It made no difference to him except for the slight sting of the breeze against them and he winced. His eyes were almost normal, except for two small details, the first being that they were a pale pink and the second being that he had no pupils, only solid irises.

Arthas admired the mans eyes. "They're like mine... as is your hair... and pale skin..." He moved slowly closer to Enigma, closing his eyes as he did so. Their lips met, and Arthas slowly brought Enigma into a hug.

Enigma froze, his eyes snapping shut reflexively. Fine, he thought, even the voice in his head going slightly high pitched in shock, this man if obviously insane.
Squirming away slightly, Enigma wedged his hands between them, pushing Arthas back. "Alright," he said, leaning as far back as he could get with the other man's arms around him, "It's not that I don't appreciate spontaneity but I don't even know your name." He paused and then added in a hiss, "Also, we're sitting in the middle of the road. It's not the most private of places, is it?"

"Arthas Lichthammer." He said. "Who cares if we're in a road no one's looking. Also it was so worth it." He said in a casual matter of factly voice. "What happened with the . . . ?" Arthas said trailing off and indicating to his eyes.

Enigma scowled faintly and pulled his blindfold back up. "I don't care if no one's looking, we're still in the middle of the road and that's just not- it's just not-" he flailed a hand about in the air while making further feeble attempts at escaping from Arthas. "And just what is your excuse for kissing a perfect stranger when you're supposed to be bleeding to death?"
"As for what happened to my eyes," he added reluctantly, "I robbed someone and got what I deserved, that's what happened."

Arthas released him, and approached him again, holding his hand out to his eyes, a faint blue light appeared around his hands. "My grandmother... Was a great will user... She taught me a spell that amongst its features, could destroy eyes, and heal them... I believe she only ever used it once... Let me see if I can do anything for you..." Arthas explained. The blue light got brighter, and then faded with a pop. Arthas sighed. "I'm sorry... But! I know someone... Who might be able to fix your eyes. If you're up for a trip..." Arthas said, putting pressure on his own wounds.
