Larry had reached the midway point of Greatwood to Darkwood and he decided to take a rest before heading off to complete the job. He spotted a large beautiful looking house, it was made entirely out of wood, the trees had surrounded it making it look hidden and natural. Maybe the owner would be nice and let him stay the night.
He came up the stairs to the platform and walked to wards the door, with a swift stroke he tapped on the door making a distinct mannerly knock. There was no answer. Another attempt and Larry knocked once more, but again there was no response. Larry turned and walked away from the door with disappointment. But he then just noticed blood dripping away from the door onto the platform, it was light and liquid, so it was recently shed. Larry came in closer to the door again with curiosity, he stepped even closer so that he could place his ear on the door to hear anything. Nothing. He tried to view the inside of the house by placing his eye on a gap or space, but it was blanked out.
Larry had to see what had happened here, the door couldn't of been very secure or locked, so he grabbed the handle and pushed hard, the door flapped open with ease. Larry faced the insides of the house and the shock slowly emerged from his face.
