Magpie wandered into the bandit camp, tent underarm, and hand on his wand incase anyone decided to attack him, he set up his tent, and decided to find the Bandit King later, and try to join his ranks. Magpie was tired though, and after setting up his tent, went inside, to rest. He wrote a note, and pinned it to the tent entrance.
'If I'm not in, just leave a note on my bed, I'll get back to ya.'

A small bandit with a traders mustache noticed this new pitched up tent. The bandit walked over to it to take a closer inspection and read the note that was left. The bandit smiled and attached the letter to the leg of the Bandit Kings personal hawk. The bird flew up to the Bandit Kings house and delivered the letter.
'New recruit' said Hawk to himself. Hawk was sitting next to a blazing fire and wrote down a reply on the same piece of parchment. The note read: Welcome, Quests will be up shortly. Please stick around and prove your worth. All bandits get the chance to move up in rank which enables you more freedom. (PM me if you have any questions or problems.) Signed Hawk - King of Bandits

Boffen awoke in the tent and struggled to open his eyes, he felt dazed and confused, but at the same time warm and comfortable. ''Am i... dead?.''

Magpie sighed. "Yeah you're dead." He said sarcastically. "Obviously not dipshit. Death is living hell. You should be grateful to be alive." Magpie said.

Boffen reconised the voice but remained liying down. ''Why did you heal me?'' Boffen said, less angry and jumpy than usuall.

Magpie moved towards the man, speaking casually. "You should not ask why I healed you. Instead.... The question should be, why would I not heal you?" He explained. "Now. I have something to offer you." Magpie began, less casual than before. " I've noticed your potential. Potential to be a great Mage. I can unlock your potential and strength. If you'll let me. Will you be my apprentice and let me tutor you?" He asked, giving the man a strange pink liquid in a mug. "Drink it. It will stop the spasms and extreme pain you'll experience later if you don't." He said, not telling the man that the medicine was extremely disgusting.

Boffen managed to lift himself up, he held the mug facing the oposite way of Magpie, he looked into the mug and swirled the liquid round a little. ''I guess this probably is the best oppotunity i'm going to get out of my life after all.'' Boffen muttered as he turned round to Magpie.
Boffen drank the fowl liquid and screwed his face up, he managed to swallow before throwing the mug to the floor. ''My name is Boffen, and i have never expeirenced my true potential.'' He kneeled down before Magpie. ''I accept your offer... master.''

Magpie smiled. "Good. Your training starts tomorrow. We'll do it just outside the camp. You should rest. Get your strength up."

Boffen woke up the next morning, it was early and Boffen found it hard getting up from the nice comfortable bed. ''I haven't slept so well since... since erm...since never!.''
