Character Name:
Gabrielle Maria ‘Seraph’ Viaris.
Age:
19
Eyes:
Light grey rimmed with darker grey.
Hair:
Shoulder length, wavy, black.
Face Description:
She has a very ‘sharp’ face, with high cheekbones, a long nose and pointed chin. Her mouth is wider than average and her lips are a darkish red. She looks very dramatic, with arched eyebrows, long lashes and deep set eyes.
Body Description:
She’s pretty tall, measuring 6’2 and is broad-shouldered. She has an hourglass body shape (wide hips, large breasts) and is moderately well muscled. She wears a heavy silver necklace with miniature rendering of an artists depiction of the Tear Of Avo on it.
She has a lot of scars on her forearms ( and now wears vambraces to cover them) and uppers arms, as well as one on her abdomen.
Her skin is an olive tone. She has angel-style wings tattooed on her back, starting from the shoulder and going down to her waist.
Strengths:
She’s incredibly loyal to her friends and to the cause she chooses to follow. She works hard and does her best at everything, even if it’s not enough. She likes to cook and take pride in doing little things, like fixing a door or a bow.
Weaknesses:
She is afraid of intimate contact from others, she’s rather pregnant dogy. She’s also very loud and it’s easy to get on her bad side over a misunderstanding. She’s independent to a fault.
Animal Companion:
A small black cat that likes to sleep in the hood of her coats. It’s name is Dante, though she more often calls it ‘Little Bastard’.
Moral Standing:
Neutral, verging on Good.
Weapon of Choice:
Katana or Longsword. If allowed, may she later obtain a Rapier?
Skill of Choice:
Strength.
Born:
Bowerstone.
Family:
Gabrielle is what is known as a ‘bastard child’. Her mother (Maria) got pregnant during a fling and was forced to settle down and care for her child. Later on Maria would give birth to a second daughter by a different man, this one named Artemis Diana.
She has no other family that she knows of.
Her family came from the Fable equivalent of Italy (I call it Italia) many years before she was born and this is still evident in their looks.
Character History:
Gabrielle was born in the Bowerstone Slums. She was a difficult child to birth and due to the woeful medicine then, Maria’s body never fully recovered. Gabrielle continued to be a difficult, sulky brat and she and her mother grew to hate each other, though Gabrielle would later shower her little sister with constant love and affection.
When Gabrielle was seven Maria married a man named Jared. Jared was a horrible man and it’s probable that he was what finally convinced Maria to run away and leave her children and husband behind. Jared had no care for the two girls and pretty much disowned the two.
However, they were taken in by a preacher of Avo who lived in Bowerstone, a man name Valance Rodriguez. When Gabrielle was old enough she was sent to the Heroes Guild, followed several years later by Artemis.
Personality:
She’s devoutly religious and prays to Avo every morning. She’s very determined and independent but she doesn’t mind if a fella opens a door for her or pulls out a chair at the table, given that she’d do the same for him herself.
She’s introverted and usually sulking about in a bad mood due to one thing or another. She’s passionate about things and never goes by halves. If she loves you she’s devoted, if she hates you then you may as well be the son of Skorm in her eyes.
Despite her natural dislike of socialising, she’s trying to talk to people more often at her sister’s urging.
Loathes being called ‘Gabby’.
Sample RP:
Gabrielle sat in the mess hall, sthingying thick, chunky vegetable soup into her mouth. To be honest, it was probably more chunk than soup and was going cold, but she didn’t care. She was too busy reading, her brow furrowed with the effort it took to decipher the squiggly little letters into actual words.
She sighed and put the book down. Read books, Arty had said, it’ll open your mind, she said. Well, that was all very well and good for her but she’d actually gotten to go to school. Gabrielle on the other hand was just beginning to get to grips with literary tuiton. Granted, she was making good progress, but it’d be a long time until this particular tome could tell her how to make friends.
