David and his group were walking down the endless corridors, when David saw a shadowy figure running. "Hey Magpie can we get a little more light?"

David lit a torch for the other two Heroes, then the sound of scurrying started again. "Be on your toes, it doesn't sound like anything human" David said raising his shield and his club.

The movement got closer and closer. Suddenly time seemed to stop for a moment. Then an old voice echoed down the Hallways so that anyone in the Dungeon could hear it. "So, you think that tiny little map will help you? Do you believe you can survive long enough to get to me?" the voice echoed "Just as naive as Brood, always looking out for others instead of himself." the voice mumbled "So I thought I'd give you a gift maybe a few puppies to play with?"

A howl echoed from where Violet and the others had gone, the Heroes turned around to look, and by doing this left them selves venerable, then a pitch black Balverine Jumped out at Margath, the two others from the celling caught David and Lynn.

Margath shot a frostbolt at the balverine, icicles erupted from the balverine's spine as the frostbolt hit the creature. He turned around and fired lightning at the two balverine's pinning down David and Lynn.

The two Balverines fell to the ground smoke rising from there corpses. Then a Balverine cloacked on the wall jumped on Margath as more came running down the Hall.

"Duck!" David yelled, Margath bent down his head enough for David to bash in the Balverines head.

The Balverines dodged left and right until they got to the two Heroes and started slashing them.

Margath kicked a balverine in the face and it flew across the room. It got back up but Margath shot lightning repeatedly into its head.

"Ya, lets hope thats the last of the damned beasts" David said as he picked up his torch from the ground.
The three Heroes walked down the Corridors until they came to a small circular room with a rock in the middle, there were five different entrances, and no indication of such a room on the map. The only way of telling the difference was that each of the five had a different symbol above them. The first, which the Heroes had come out from was marked by a circle, the 2nd with a pair of lines, the 3rd with a triangle, the 5th with a house shape, but the 4th corridor was blocked off and it's Symbol missing.
"What the hell?" David thought out loud.

Suddenly Margath's Guild seal began speaking. An old man laughed on the other end.
"What are the Heroes stumped?" the Old man asked "Well, I'll be fair and at least tell you the puzzle, and a hint for dispatching Broods' men. First off is your hint none of those other ways lead to the chamber, there just exits or traps, secondly to open the door that is shut you must give it it's proper symbol. On the rock you will find five symbols, get it right and you'll pass, get it wrong, and, lets just say those stalagmites above your heads are not drenched in water. Good Luck!" the voice chuckled as it faded away.

David ran over to the rock and found the five symbols, one was a jewel shape, one a square, one an octagon, one a hexagon, and one heptagon.
"Any ideas?" David asked
