Griff followed behind Violet and Ravyn, the dark path was dimly lit by Violets wand. He felt rather awkward being alone with the two females. He didn't know what to talk about with them, and since he was the only bandit around he didn't feel like he fit in.
As they continued through the dark narrow passages he finally got the courage to speak up.
"I'd like to clear something up right now if I could. Being a bandit this isn't easy for me, but I just want to say that going through this with you guys, I really think of you both as friends. I hope you both feel the same" Griff said, feeling like this was neither the time nor the place for such a conversation.

Violet nodded in agreement.
"The Guild will take you in with open arms; Hero or not." A roar rang into the air as a group of monsters walked through the passage way.
"Ready?" The monsters came close to reveal they were more Balverines.
((Hope either of you don't mind me doing that. If you do I will change it.))

Magpie materialised infront of the group.
"Thought you could use some help." He said, keeling over, as the transformation to a Balverine begun once more.

The noise stopped for a moment only to be replaced with a heavy breathing and a snarl. Then an old voice echoed down the Hallways so that anyone in the Dungeon could hear it.
"So, you think that tiny little map will help you? Do you believe you can survive long enough to get to me?" the voice echoed "Just as naive as Brood, always looking out for others instead of himself." the voice mumbled "So I thought I'd give you a gift maybe a few puppies to play with?"
Then an enormous Howl broke the voices' speech, then something Albion had never seen before came from one of the corners, a Grey Balverine, it appeared to be undead, and was almost as tall as Magpie, the problem was there was a whole pack of them.

Magpie threw himself into the pack, gashing open the throats of two Gray Balverines immediately. He turned, and picked up the three heroes, putting them on his back.
"Hold on..." He growled, running through the pack of Balverines, towards the source of the voice, and shielding the two women, and the man on his back.

The Balverines rushed at Magpie jumping on him, trying to slow him down, and although Magpie was able to persist, there were two huge problems, firstly every time Magpie killed one, or bashed it into a wall it appeared to be fine and would get back up and keep pursuing Magpie, secondly every intersection Magpie came to it became more and more difficult to remember where the voice came from.

(Magpie. you're in the other group. You can't just come into ours.)
Ravyn shot 2 arrows, straight at one of the balverines. The arrows pierced through the thick hide of the balverine. The piercing augment she had applied before the quest allowed the arrow to pierce right through the hide easily.

[[Magpie, thank you for the thought, but you were assigned to Group 1. They need a mage too. If Violet was in any danger I'm sure Rayvn and Griff wouldn't leave me for dead...hopefully  ]] Violet flicked her wand shooting a fireball. The flame hit one of the grey Balverine's chest burning it hair. She then spun aroun and jabbed one that came up behind her with her wand sending it flying into the wall. |

Griff charged at the grey Balverine, stabbing his sword deep into its torso. It roared loudly and flung Griff back toward the group with one swipe. Griff stood back up and shook off the pain of the attack.
"Well that never worked for me. Time to get my sword back" he said
Taking out his Silver Dagger he made his way toward the Balverine again, this time with more caution. It swiped at him furiously, the beast was as strong as it was fast and Griff was struggling to get a good hit in without exposing himself to more damage.
"Ravyn! Violet! Can one of you distract this thing for me so I can finish it off? One good hit in the head with my dagger should drop the beast!" Griff shouted out.

Violet nodded at Griff. She faced the Balverine in gulped. She lit up her palm with a fireball and faced it at the beast.
"Look here you beast!" The fireball flew from her hand and hi the grey Balverine in the stomach making it bend over.

Griff ran at the Balverine and jumped on it's back holding his Silver Dagger high in the air. As he landed he grabbed some fur to hold on and jammed his dagger in the back of it's head. The beast let out a roar and fell down on it's side. Griff walked around to the front and pulled his sword from it's stomach.
"Thanks Violet, that was a great shot" Griff said, blushing slightly.

Ravyn kicked a Balverine back as it pounced at her, and fired a point blank arrow into it's skull. It flinched back, then growled back at her. She jumped to the side, as it pounced again. She rolled on her shoulder. She rolled onto her knees, and fired 2 more arrows into the back of the Balverine.
"I could use some help!" she called.

The Balverines skull began to burn away at the touch of the Silver Dagger, but there were still many more to come.
As Violet turned to help Rayvyn a Balverine jumped on her pinning her to the ground.
